Tim Rose paints in oils and watercolour and his subjects range from architectural studies to portraiture. He has exhibited widely and has had paintings displayed in competitions, art fairs and galleries. He paints mostly on site or in the studio from sketches and always tries to capture the immediacy of his response to the subject whether being the drama of illumination or a fleeting moment. He is based in Sheffield City centre at Yorkshire Artspace studios

He has also worked in the commercial art sector producing architectural illustrations, greetings cards, portraits of business headquarters as well as teaching and writing articles for magazines.
